Overview
To address the need for ongoing training for faculty and staff interested in improving care quality and safety, evaluating their interventions, and sharing outcomes, we are offering a series of webinars and workshops for Department of Medicine members who want to lead improvement initiatives.
The 8-month program teaches essential quality improvement methods.
sessions and dates
Attendees of the workshops will learn a 7-step method to QI project execution and will apply the techniques to project design through in-class exercises. Attendees should bring a project concept to develop and are welcome to invite collaborators in other health professions (eg nurses, pharmacists, administrators) involved in the QI project.
Attendees of the webinars will learn skills needed to measure, analyze, and publish their QI work.
Live workshops will be offered multiple times and webinars will be recorded to make the series accessible.
