Interested in working with VSSL? The Lab is explicitly designed to leverage collaboration with clinicians, scholars, and administrative leaders to drive change that impacts patients and populations. It draws on content expertise in areas such as decision sciences, health policy, care delivery redesign, and behavioral economics, as well as health system leadership in population health, value-based purchasing and care delivery.

Please contact the VSSL team with an email inquiry if you are interested in any of the following:

  • Signing up for the Lab newsletter. We are in the process of preparing a newsletter that will contain both Lab-related updates and opportunities, as well as high-yield reading lists for value-based care and systems-related topics.
  • Arranging a presentation by Lab members about a topic within our areas of expertise. We have experience presenting to a variety of health system, academic, and policy stakeholders, and would welcome a discussion to explore potential fit between your needs and our areas of expertise (Please refer to the VSSL “Home” and “Selected Works” pages to learn more about our focus areas)
  • Exploring collaboration with the Lab on program or intervention evaluation. We prioritize rigorous evaluation in our work, believing that organizations and groups can only improve what they measure. We have experience working with clinical units, departments, provider organizations, and policymakers on program and intervention evaluation, and would welcome a conversation about collaboration.
  • Applying for a VSSL Policy and Care Delivery Immersive. To help prepare and train the next generation of scholars and health care leaders in value-based care and systems science, the Lab offers limited positions for an immersive experience that combines hands-on project work with scholarship (e.g., project-related policy briefs and/or other dissemination products). Participants also gain unique exposure to health system administrators during the immersive.
